FOKP is holding elections for all positions on the FOKP Board of Directors, as well as 3 delegate positions to the DC Federation of Civic Associations! Those elected will serve a two year term starting in January. More info below.
Dear FOKP Neighbors,
At our Annual Meeting on October 15, 2026, Friends of Kingman Park (FOKP) will be holding elections for all positions on the FOKP Board of Directors, as well as 3 delegate positions to the DC Federation of Civic Associations. The FOKP Nominating Committee is accepting nominations by email. Nominations, including self nominations, shall be permitted from the floor, at our September and October meetings. Those elected will serve a two year term from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2028. Beginning on Page 3 of the FOKP Bylaws (link here for convenience: fokpdc.com/bylaws) are the official duties of the board member positions.

Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Parliamentarian
Two (2) At-Large Board Members
Three delegates to the DC Federation of Civic Associations
